Home Owner Warranty

The homeowner warranty coverage from Vivant gives the Original purchaser a LIMITED WARRANTY for a period of ONE YEAR from the original purchase date. Vivant warrant that all the components of Vivant kitchen cabinetries are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use. This homer warranty disclaims products utilized in any application other than the standard and original purpose. Should any of our products fail as a result of defects in material or workmanship under normal use within this warranty period, Vivant will have the discretion to either repair or replace the defective material or component free of charge. This warranty covers only parts and materials of the products supplied by Vivant.

The homeowner warranty, however, does not cover areas in which products are misused, neglected, abused, mishandled, improperly installed, improperly stored, changed, modified or are subject to any extreme temperature or exposure to moisture level or the effects of normal wear and tear. The homeowner warranty does also not cover any acts of God, such as lightning and floods. The homeowner warranty shall become void if the cabinets are in any way modified, improperly installed or damaged either prior to or during the installation. The homeowner warranty does not include or cover the cost of installation, removal, subsequent damage, or transportation, nor does it cover the defective product, irrespective of whether work was performed by another contractor, service company, or yourself. Further more, not covered under this homeowner warranty are such things as plumbing fixtures, etc. or the costs, including labour, to remove and reinstall materials and related components such as fittings, appliances, etc. The homeowner warranties are only applicable to products used in residential applications within Singapore and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

The repair(s) or replacement(s) are contingent upon the current product offerings of styles and construction options within the Vivant product at the time of the warranty claims. If an homeowner warranty claim is filed after a Vivant product becomes obsolete, Vivant reserves the right to honour the warranty in one of the following ways:

1. To replace the defective component with a new one of the same style.

2. To replace the defective component and any other component(s) to achieve a uniform appearance with a similar and comparable product style of the originally purchased style. If components are replaced, Vivant cannot guarantee that the finish of these replacements will exactly match the finish and appearance of the original components. This is due to the changes that occur during the product's natural ageing process, thus affecting its colour.

THIS HOMEOWNER WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY OF VIVANT AND THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Respective bands and manufacturers back their products with their strong warranties. For example, Blum warrants it's products for a period of between FIVE YEARS to LIFETIME depending on the products in question. Please refer to the manufacturers of different product brands and their warranty coverage through their respective websites.

To obtain replacement(s) under Vivant homeowner warranty, first contact our customer service support and we will arrange for inspection of the product concerned. Dated sales receipts are required in order to file for warranty claims.
